This year Senior Master Mikael Meyer held the spring Poon Lone Kuen sash promotion test on the beach in Greenwich. Poon Lone Kuen is traditional kung fu, brought to SDSS by Grandmaster DeMasco. SDSS is honored to bring Poon Lone Kuen to the United States, on appointment directly from the Shaolin Temple. These techniques are based on the movements of animals in nature. Performing these ancient forms in such a pastoral environment made for a profound and sacred martial experience.
